No, I didn't draw that cartoon up at the top myself and no, that guy with every hair standing on end is definitely not meant to be Mark (although it seems likely that his hair will be standing on end fairly often during our trip). This is just a first experimental entry to sort out how this blogging business works, so that I can cross "sort out blogging business" off my list of things to do to get this trip fully planned. Seven months and counting: Our departure is scheduled for mid-August!
